Story Action Pod: Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!

The kids made another book at the Story Action Pod! This time it was based on Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems. This activity was a little more vague, and solicited a wide variety of responses. I decided to take a more narrative approach so that everything could be included and make a coherent story.
A laminated white page. Texts says, "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive
the Bus! by the kids at LPL." Pictures of Pigeon and the Bus Driver
are added to the right hand side of the page.

I decided to go with narration by the bus driver, since he's the only other character in the book.

Some kids reenacted the scenes in the book.

This was the original directive

Clearly the only reason to do anything is for Bragging Rights

At story time, I had the kids choose whether or not to let the pigeon drive

Yup, it is probable that the pigeon does not know how to drive.
I LOVE that so much is going on this picture.
The bunny is even confused.

There's always a few who write whatever they like.
HOWEVER, these should be included because it shows understanding of dialogue to correctly use a speech bubble.

But... um... maybe... oh well!
